Now that the weather is warmer my body is just naturally gravitating towards more raw foods. Jicama is a great raw food. You can simply peel it and eat it. It has a slightly sweet taste but not overtly so. It is lightly crunchy, crisp and refreshing.
1 Jicama – sliced into match sticks
1 splash olive oil
1 splash lime juice
couple shakes of Mrs. Dash (table blend flavor)
couple shakes smoked salt
Blend together and serve
